Bookings for train tickets to Madrid surge by 1137% following semi-final last week

LONDON, 16th May 2019 Bookings for train tickets to Madrid have increased by a whopping 1137%[i] in the last week, according to Trainline, Europe’s leading train and coach app.

Since details of the final were announced, thousands of fans have been planning and booking trips to Madrid in time for the match on 1st June.

Costs for direct flights to Madrid have skyrocketed with many having now sold out, however, for those prepared to go the extra mile for their favourite team, you can still get to Madrid without breaking the bank, if you combine train or coach into your travel plan.
