Prime Minister Theresa May MP for Maidenhead was at the Henley Festival to see Welsh Opera star Bryn Terfel perform with the National Welsh Opera Orchestra with special guest Alma Deutscher, the UKs youngest composer aged 11 who performed the 3rd movement of her violin concerto, composed when she was nine. Earlier in the evening former Rolling Stones Guitarist Mick Taylor performed alongside Ben Walters in the Big Top and on the comedy stage Al Murray headlined with jokes about Brexit including: “We’re getting divorced from 27 countries – 11 of whom we didn’t even know we’d married.” Other celebrities at the festival included Paul Daniel’s Widow Debbie McGee.
